    Hi Laura,

hang on in there I'm just finished 4weeks and feeling great. I was  on Citalopram for 10 months then gp changed them to Prozac. I hated them, But now life seems very good, but it could be something to do with were going to Thailand for three weeks tomorrow . I will Report back when back to reality. Just keep thinking good

    things.

Hi, yes it's very normal to feel worse in the first 8 weeks, some days you will feel fine then other days you will feel like giving the sert up. But stick with it as it's just levelling out in your system. You will have a few blips but soon you will have more good days than bad. I started off with 50 mg fir 8 weeks then upped to 100 mg now for the past 6 weeks and I'm feeling very good in myself. Anxiety try's to creep back but it doesn't materialise. Keep with it and if you feel like it's not working after 6-8 weeks then maybe go back to doctors about upping your dose x

hi rachel am into week 12 and that is the only side effect which still persists but a read in a post it takes about that time to fully level itself out but a must say apart from that things are better.

hi rachel am now in week 12 it is just over the past week a noticed a was getting better but a was to hung up on the side effects to notice at week 5 when a went up to 100mg from 50mg a felt worse a felt as if a should have stayed longer on 50mg actually am going to suggest dropping to 75mg next time a see the doctor but if your anxiey is making you feel the way you are and you have noticed no benefits a would go up because at your stage on 50mg a felt better but were all different if you feel you should give it another week tell the doctor that is what your dong you go with how you feel.

why didnt your doc try you on esctalopram , the new vertion off  citalopram  or lexapro in its real name.  if you did well on citalopram the best thing the doc should have known was to put you on the new vertion.  On sertraline 3 week is  NO MANS LAND   you need more time  yet

Iv been on sert 3.5weeks and im loads better then I was with pnd and anxiety where I was a total state but I still get anxiety which makes me lighthead and awful sad Dr spoke of increasing to 75mg but this scares me too as I increased fluoxetine awhile back and it was hell!!!!! Should I wait 50mg out and how long for? I don't feel depressed a bit low at times but the anxiety dizziness is not nice and the headaches it causes
