The first 2-3 weeks were tough, I had increased anxiety, heart palpitations, diarrhea, headaches. The 4th week was good but lately I have been felling anxious again and been having palpitations again. Maybe I need to up my dosage.

Sertraline, as many medicines "might" cause many side effects diarreha and constipation are both a possible side effect of sertraline. I haven't suffered this if anything it has helped my IBS but instead I have had weight gain from it which I have 12 weeks dieting one to one to complete to see if this helps

I'm glad it has helped your IBS. For me, its done the opposite. My doctor tells me I have IBS, doesn't do anything for me, doesn't give me medication to help, doesn't tell me what to eat to make it better! When I mentioned I was on sertraline , he said it's the side effects of the tablets! So i've stopped taking them to see if there is any improvement.

I wish my d was a few days, mine has been 6 weeks ever since I started taking sertraline. I had it a few times before, But it progressively got worse after taking my meds, so bad to the point it was everything I ate to 6-10 times a day. Now it's like 2 times a day.
