Does Sex hurt for anyone?

I've had BV for 10 months now. I'm also beginning to suspect I have cervicitis. Sometimes inserting a tampon hurts and sometimes even inserting a q-tip to check my discharge slightly hurts like I can definitely feel the q-tip.... does anyone else have this? I can feel something off when I walk, laying down. It basically feels like if my vagina was a nose it would have the flu... like it's constantly congested. I've been talking with a friend who also has BV and she hasn't experienced feeling any type of fullness or anything down there just odor and discharge. What is your BV like???

    I’ve never experienced that feeling of fullness down there but I do sometimes experience pain during sex. First time I had BV I had the odor, discharge and pain with sex. Now it is back with same symptoms but less than how it was before
