Sinus problems can be triggered by many different things - an allergy (environmental or something you eat), an auto-immune response, an infection, a virus, a drug you took a few weeks ago, inflammation....

It's perhaps not so much the sinusitis itself causing a psychological impact, it might be that whatever is causing the sinus problem is also causing a psychological problem.

You need to track down what is causing the sinusitis. It may be gut related as the gut microbiome has been proven to have a profound impact on the nervous system.

    What does your doctor say?
