Really think I contracted herpes. Ive been in pain for almost a week with sores, vaginal bleeding(just once), bloody sores, burning, and vaginal discharge.

    Hey guys.

I will be going to the doctor tomorrow to get a definite diagnosis. But I just tried my best to keep the area dry. I read baking soda helps. I tried that and it burned like crazy after a while. Then I rinsed it off. It eliminated majority of the sores in less than a day. From the original pictures that were taken Friday, I know have maybe two sores and no bumps at all as of Saturday night. It definitely helped that area to heal faster. Also I’m keeping it clean by watching it with water every time I use the restroom. I have literally been taking a water bottle and pouring it over the area when I pee to eliminate the burning. Then I wash it out afterwards to make sure the area is nice and clean. Wearing loose clothing helps keep the area dryer. Going commando is helpful also. The ob started about Tuesday for me so it’s beem less than a week and it’s looking like it should be completely clear before it’s even been a week! I still plan on seeing a doctor tomorrow and getting on suppressive meds. I’ve heard that some people can go as long as 10 years without and another outbreak so I’m hoping that can happen to me. Also, some believe that hsv can be cured. Experts say no but there are people that followed teachings of Dr. Sebi that claim he found a cure. However the steps are very complicated. But some how found success in doing it and claim to be cured but who really know? The virus could just be dormant or they could have been negative in the first place.

What kind of baking soda did you use ? Did you put it on the inside or outside of your vagina ? I’m asking because im going to try this today , I see blistering forming , like lil puss bumps and I’m trying to avoid the pain of them forming in sores !

I just used regular baking soda. The kind in the orange box. It did burn after a while but as soon as I washed it off a few hours later it felt so much better. It cleared my sores fast.

I just dipped a cotton ball in water the the baking soda so it made a paste. Then I blotted as much as I could all over. Whatever part was red, I put baking soda there. I left only on the outside of the vagina because I wasn’t having any internal issues.

I saw a doctor yesterday. He said it looked like HSV and started me on antivirals. I did get a swan test and a blood test to confirm. I should have the results back in a week. Pain is down to about a 1, almost all of the sores are gone.

That's good that you were prescribed some suppressants. They will definitely help if you have another outbreak. Let me know if you have any questions!?

Ouch, that looks sore! I do see ulceration, which is suggestive of herpes, although it looks overly clustered. Has it been spreading like a rash? I would still get that swabbed asap, not only to be sure, but to also type it if it is indeed herpes. Don't self-diagnose.

Yea it spread quickly like a rash. It’s almost healed up now. So it only took about 5-6 days from it appearing to be almost completely healed.

This again makes me think it may not be herpes, despite what looks like ulceration in some parts. If it happens again, see a doctor asap and insist on a swab for herpes and whatever else the doctor suggests.
