Does this look like genital herpes, genital warts, or a hemorrhoid?

I am extremely concerned with having contracted an STD. In particular, genital warts and/or HSV-2.

I had protected sex on a Friday night, 2/23/18. This was protected oral and vaginal. The very next morning, my penis felt like it was on fire when I would pee and at rest. I read through forums and found a lot of similar reports from guys using Trojan Ultra Thin condoms. I left it alone and figured the burning urination would stop.

Two days after that, 2/26, I started itching from my scrotum to my anus. The day after, I started feeling an icy-hot like feeling (when applied to back or shoulder for muscle pain) from my penis to my anus. This seemed to be more noticeable when I would remain seated

I started panicking and went to the doctor on 2/28. I explained the protected encounter and symptoms. Doctor advised that I would be at very little risk from the condom and prescribed the classic doxycycline to treat most infections. Doctor also mentioned that herpes does not usually have the symptoms I explained and not have actual lesions. Checked my genitalia and said I was okay. Also mentioned that a lot of young men "feel" extra sensations due to regretful sexual encounters. I did get tested for chlamydia and gonorrhea. Test came back negative.

I know in the last week alone I have been worried sick and scaring myself reading all the symptoms.

The icy-hot/itchy feeling remained until last night, 3/3. I felt an unfamiliar feeling in my anus. I get up and check with a mirror. I noticed a bump around my anus. No redness. Does not appear to have a white head unless the camera flash is on. My anus has been burning when I go to the bathroom for number two. I am uncomfortable and can feel the bump.

I am scared and want to go back to the doctor to get thoroughly checked and tested now that there is a bump.

I am panicking from waiting. For the time being, what does this look like?

The picture looks really blurry but to me I think you should go back to the doctor and get that checked because you probably went to early to get it checked and the tests might not have been reliable but don’t panick and don’t resd things anymore because there’s a lot of infections/diseases out there and you may think it’s bad whenin reality it could be something small and can be fixed. Just try to stay calm go back to the doctor and explain them your symptoms hasn’t gone away and you developed some bumps just try to stay calm..

It’s okay! And sorry about my late reply! And I honestly wouldn’t know what to tell you.. it does not look like herpes for sure and the symptoms your feeling really does sound like an infection by any chance are you experiencing some yellow or greenish discharge or like a white thin discharge?

Thanks for replying! No discharge that I can notice.

General Practitioner Doc said it is a hemorrhoid because he doesn't see a lesion or redness. Worrying because I read about about frequent wrong diagnosis of hemorrhoids that are actual herpes. Doc advised against blood tests because they are "unreliable" and he has seen many false positives and false negatives. Said that if he actually found a lesion, then he would get the lesion tested.

Thinking about making an appointment with a dermatologist or urologist. Unsure if there is a specific specialist for detecting HSV.

No problem! And I highly think it’s herpes, you’re worrying more than you need to, don’t look anymore because it’ll worry you more, trust me I’ve been there. And as far as I know a urologist is a specialist that you should be going to to be able to detect it.
