Hello,
i have just noticed this rash in my anus area. The area has been burning for around a week (only when i sit or walk), it started around two days after i had noticed a fungal rash on my penis. Is it possible that its just a fungal rash or something else? I will go to the doctor first chance i get

So some more information. I went to the doctor and she said that its a fungal infection. I got some cream for it, but how could a fungal infection cause sores like that? I have a hard time accepting the diagnosis because of the white spots

After only one day of applying clotrimazole the burning sensation is mostly gone and the area seems to be healing as well, so I guess it was fungal after all..

hello mark, could you please let me know if your symptoms have gone away? I had something similar, itching and burning for a month and I saw some small tears and they disappeared before I had the chance to get it swabbed. Afraid it's herpes but thinking about trying treating it with fungal cream

Hello, it has been looked at two times by a dermatologist who said that it was probably a fungal infection. It has not been swabbed or anything like that, but the burning went away after a few days of applying a clotrimazole cream that my dermatologist prescribed to the area. There is still minor burning when friction occurs, but it seems to be healing.
