Does this look like herpes?

I have 3 ulcers on my vagina none on the inside. I have tonsilitis and a uti according to the doctor. He said it doesn't look like herpes but he did a culture anyway. I'm terrified that it is, it never was a blister neve got crusty they're just ulcers. I have no pain except slight discomfort when I pee and wipeNo discharge and no itching. Help!

I've currently had 3 doctors tell me no, but I just want more input. Trying to ease my mind or cope while waiting for these results. I haven't slept or eaten.

Sorry but many times even the Doctors assessments can be wrong. Try to be patient and wait for the results of the cultures to return. It's the only wait to know for certain. You can also google the images for herpes 2 and see if any match the ones you have and also take a review of the symptoms and do a checklist for any of them you may have also get the IGg test to verfiy if you have HSV I or II. This won't ease you worry but it will help you to be prepared regardless of the results.

Thanks! I have a few symptoms but they're the same that go along with tonsilitis and uti. I have no pain or itching and vary little burning when urinating, no abnormal discharge just the sores I was told it could Be aphthous ulcers since they never blisterd they've always been ulcerish looking. It's so hard to be patient none of the google images I saw really look like what I have but its nerve wracking!

Unfortunately herpes symptoms can vary greatly. They can be excruciatingly painful or not particularly painful at all (possibly only to the touch), itchy or barely so (usually before a recurrence or during healing, if there is itching), with UTI-like symptoms and/or discharge or not. Not very helpful, I know!

Do you have the results back from the UTI test yet, assuming they tested you for that? Is your UTI marked by frequent urination, painful urination, or both? If the test shows no bacteria, then it's likely viral... Herpes can cause painful urination, but not urgency and frequent urination.

Lesions on mucosal skin can appear seemingly immediately as ulcers, but yours are on the fleshy part, so you'd expect bumps or blisters first. A staph infection can cause herpes-like ulcers. At least your doctor swabbed for herpes, so that's good.

One last question. Did you have sex or receive oral sex within a week of your symptoms? If not, then it's less likely to be herpes. Most people who experience a first outbreak do so within a week (can be up to 2 weeks, even a bit longer, but that's less common).

Uti test came back positive. I have slight urgency but I haven't been eating or drinking much in the last 48 hours due to stress. I have had sex but not with a new partner and he doesn't have heroes that he knows of (neve had an outbreak l)

Positive for a specific bacteria type? That's "good", if so! I had what originally seemed like a UTI, the in-office dipstick test indicated an infection, but the actual urinalysis came back zero for bacteria, and I knew what that probably meant, unfortunately.

Not a specific type but came back positive that there is a bacteria present
