Does this look like herpes

i found these small four pimple looking bumps on my inner thigh. I was tested for HSV 2 back in March and came out negative. I had protected sex on April 2nd but didnt notice if he had any bumps or anything around his thighs or pelvic area. on April 18th i found these 4 bumps on my inner upper thigh. they already look like they’re getting smaller ( they never turned into blisters or ulcers) and theyre not itchy or painful. I think it’s more of a mind thing because when I noticed them I started to feel a little itchy but nothing to severe. no fever or anything. does it look like herpes? I had a telephone appointment with the doctor and he said it could be from wearing tight clothes which I do especially when I go to the gym.

yes they do and i recently started going to the gym and i spend time on the treadmill. so I’m thinking that could be the reason but I just wanted a second opinion.

My anxiety was getting pretty bad about it, so I ended up going to the doctor and she said it doesn’t look like herpes and that it looks more like bug bites. she pressed on them and asked me if it was painful but I didn’t experience any pain. she said whatever it is, it looks like it’s healing already and she said that since I’m anxious about it she’ll run a blood test for herpes. so I can have a peace of mind. so they got my blood im just waiting for the results!
