Does this look like Herpes, HPV, or ingrown hair?

My bf got 3 small brownish bumps - somewhat like a pimple with a dimple in the middle. No pus. The first one was on his base and the other two were on his shaft - all in one straight line. All 3 were kinda round - oval shaped. We freaked out and he booked a dr's appointment. They made a biopsy but we're still waiting for the results.

I had a few bumps about 1 week ago (photo attached), no itchiness, no pain - could it be herpes, hpv, or ingrown hairs? They're almost 95% gone now. I'm thinking these could be completely unrelated to my bf's bumps since before he got those, we spent an entire weekend in pools, playing sports under the sun, and we did use the hotel's towels (ew). Maybe that could have caused his infection? Molluscum maybe?

I've only ever had what seemed like ingrown hairs, but no sores or anything that would resemble a wart. I got a pap smear back in 10/20 and it was all normal as well.

I'm paranoid - I can't get tested because I am not in my home country and my insurance doesn't work here... ugh!

    it looks like it may be irritation from shaving or ingrown hairs. It does not look like warts and Herpes tend to start as bumps and then develop into painful open blisters.
