DOES THIS LOOK OR SOUND LIKE HERPES?!?

Right after I was done having sex with a guy, my clitoris started feeling weird. A few days later, my clitoris hurt so bad that I could barely walk and when pee touched my clitoris, it burned really bad. It did not burn to pee, only when pee touched my clitoris. There was also blood coming from under my clitoris hold. I also had extreme watery discharge which had a bad smell. It was so excessive that I had to wear pads and tampons. My labia minora and clitoris good was also very swollen. A few days after that, I noticed on spot on the inside of my labia minora which was sort of red/flesh color. It was flat, not bumped up and looked as if it were just apart of my skin. Not painful at all and just one one side. About 2 days later, 2 more of those flat spots popped up on the other side. I also had what appeared to be a bartholin cyst but it eventually went away before I went to the doctor. When I went to the doctor, my ob/gyn said it might be herpes because I was in so much pain doing her examination (which was coming from my clitoris). She prescribed me on Valtrex, doxycycline hyclate, and metronidazole and about 2 days later, my discharge, pain, and then 2 spots on my labia minora were gone. I will also add that I had high fevers that came from time to time (102.8 being the highest), runny nose, headache, stomach ache, and was very sick. Do you think this is herpes? Please help.

From what u are describing those are the classic signs of herpes you should have ask your doctor to do a swab but I would say the doctor is correct

thank you for your reply. I know this isn't possible to really know, but do you think I received it from that partner. I started having the clitoris problems legit right after we had sex and that's when the rest of mt symptoms came as well.

Based on what you've said and the pictures you've provided, I'm afraid I would have to concur with your doctor/OBG-YN. I'm glad you received a prescription for Valtrex. Make sure you take it as prescribed; it should help the outbreak subside faster than it otherwise would. After that, just do your best to exercise, eat healthy, and just generally be in good health -- this will increase the likelihood that you will not only have fewer outbreaks, but they will be milder.

      very hard to tell!

if you have had other sexual partner and you could have got it and it could had laid dormant and flare up due to the friction of sex!

i would suggest both of you guys get tested!

he said that he tested positive for chlamydia, which I tested negative for. The guy i was with before that said he tested negative for everything. i'm so lost

was herpes on their panel though! most places sadly dont test for herpes!!

if it is herpes you could have got it from oral or sex! please try not to worry i know this time can be so scary! you have valtrex so if its herpes it will clear up! get your results and they you can work to getting back on track! 😃

yes, it seems as though u have the classic signs of herpes. after i was diagnosed i beat myself up wondering who gave it to me... i have an idea who but they denied it so i will never really know. Anyone couldve given it to you, so don't get caught up on that. I know its easier said than done, I still imagine what my life would be like if i never met that person. itll get better as time goes on though x
