Does this sound like neuropathy?

Hi everyone I am brand new to this site and after reading a few stories decided I would ask for help. About 6 yrs ago I started getting constant pain in the front of both thighs. It felt like really bad sunburn. After about a year it got better and I only felt it once in a while for a short amount of time. But I stated getting the same burning pain in my pelvic area and it has been constant for 5 yrs straight. Does this sound like neuropathy? I don't have diabetes, never drink alcohol, and am not over weight. Sometimes I feel tingling on the front of my arms as well. This has basically destroyed my life. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated!

Hi, have you seen a neurologist, if not it might be a good place to start. Some of your descriptions sound like nerve issues. I encourage you to pursue your issues as much damage can occur which can make your pain worse. A nerve conduction test should give you some answers as to why you are experiencing the pain. Keep a log as to what activities bring on or worsen your symptoms, it might help to pinpoint where the damage is located.MRI testing would also be useful to find out why you are experiencing your pain. It is hard to get answers but be determined your long term quality of life is involved. Best of luck and know I am so sorry you are hurting. Sending a hug your way. 🌷🌷🌷

It could be neuropathy or sciatica as I have both but the sciatica is on my left side from my lower back on down my leg. The best thing to do would see a neurologist or a rheumotologist as they are more experienced
