one of the few meds I haven't tried yet. Anyone have good or bad reactions to it? Is there anything that actually works? šŸ’ŠšŸ˜”

      Hi jannette

im definately not trying the gabs or pregs then! The one thing that is good about this horrible condition is that you can't see it. I know everyone says different but I'm grateful for that! Thanks so much for your reply. Normalising the situation amongst fellow Fibro Warriors does give huge comfort. Hope you are having a good day! Xx

HiĀ  I tried Tramadol, the pain relief was great but my BPshot up.Ā  As I have had surgery for a cerebral aneursysm this wasn't good so I gave it up.Ā  I am currently taking Paracetamol extra (this is with Caffeine, that makes the paracetamol work quicker) I buy these from the local supermarket.Ā  Plus Codeine Phosphate and Amitriptyline to help me sleep. I can manage that on 10mg of Ami at the moment and really don't want to increase the dose.

Lilylady! You poor thing how scary! Is codiene phosphate the one without paracetamol? Thanks for your reply. Enjoy your Sunday xx

To be totally HONEST.. the ONLY THING that has EVER WORKED to KILL the Pain for me has been Morphine after surgery and Whacky Backy which I have tried Twice and it WORKS....!! Ā Best sleeps ever to! Ā If I could legally use the Oil I dam well would!! Ā  Here in NZ only folk with MS can apply for the Savetix, the Medical Marijuana (splg?)... Ā  Shocking isn't it!!

We all need to get activistist on the situation and get it legalised and regulated for others who don't know about the relief benefits. Sign petitions people! There is one on the Internet for legalisation in the uk. I've signed it. Never tried morphine! I have surgery coming up soon for removal of a benign tumour. Maybe I'll be lucky then! Everything is mad about all of the systems put in place. It's just ridiculous how difficult it is being ill. Keep the faith deb97936! Xx

I'm in Nevada and medical marijuana is legal. It does help with relaxing and some pain. I find essential oils very soothing. I had to have a shot of something as strong as morphine but most of the time I can control the burning and pain with alternative medicine. I hope you find something to help you.

I know I'm replying to myself but I tried it had no use whatsoever. Just horrible side effects. I have no idea how this can be addictive! Is that fun?

just thought I'd let others know the outcome. Gone back to cocodamol had enough of trying stuff for now.Ā
