Doesn't hitting the snooze button mean you need more sleep?

I listen to a variety of productivity podcasts and most say a top priority is getting enough sleep - managing rest.

But others say 'do not hit the snooze button ... challenge yourself to get our of your comfort zone…get up and go to bed at the same time daily’ which certainly also seems like good advice.

So the question basically is: when is hitting the snooze button not about getting needed sleep? (Is there a difference between need-sleep and want-sleep?)

Thank you.
