Don't know if Cymbalta is right for me!!
Posted , 3 users are following.
I stared cymbalta 30 mg Aug 5 & was increased to 60 mg Sept 30,2016.
Since starting I have NO motivation, energy & memory loss. I don't know if this antidepression is right for me? I am seeing a (APN) specialising in Psychiatric Evaluations Medications Monitoring. I spoke to her & she seems to have deaf ears on my concerns. What should I do????

Hi linda
First of all I'm sorry you are having problems/side effects its hard enough going through health issues without the treatment adding to how unwell you are feeling.
I'm looking at this at the moment as my mum is on it for chronic pain caused by diabetic neuropathy and has some side effects with no appetite being the immediate worry.
I think if I were you I would ask a friend or family member to accompany me at the appointment so less chance of being fobbed off.
Let us know...
Take care

I too have no appetite & this worries me also.
She wanted to give me Mirtazapine to increase my appetite, I don't want to be on so many meds so I refused her offer.

I wish I knew the best depression med to use?
With less side effects & that will help.
