I'm on day 5 of my period.

prior to my period I had been using vitamin c inserts for 6 nights but then I come on .

last night i smelt hint of pee on my pad .

but this morning i forgot to put a pad on when i realised it was hours later in my pants was little light blood and a wet patch but wet patch didn't smell of bv infact when i went back to check again about 5 minutes later and wet patch was dry and no smell at all .

I suppose time will tell but I've boric acid to try yet i suppose i just wanna know if i need to try boric acid .

all this checking is becoming obsessive.

after I wrote the discussion I hadn't tried my finger and yes it's back

I know periods make us smell a little but you know when it's back and it's back.

I've just had a little bath for now I'll get my usual bath and shower later.

I've probably done something stupid but out of frustration I've put a boric acid inside now .

my trouble I'm impulsive but I just want it to go away my life crap as it is this is making it unbearable it's really weighing my mental health down .

so here I go again on another mission of tablets .😫😥

yea I hope it works cuz I'm getting a curry smell inside my tunnel I mean wtf ? lol even the bath earlier didn't help smell much in my tunnel .

sit and wait if boric acid works .

I expected it to sting being boric acid but it hasn't.

I'm thinking of buying more vitamin c suppositories can I use 2 tablets inside vitamin c and boric acid?

if anything plz plz plz STOP inserting vitamin C and the boric acid all of that stuff just makes it come back and worse...I suffered for years and yes I tried every home remedy and inserts u can think of but now I know how to control it without using all of these stupid home remedies that dont do anything but make it worse......you state ur on your period and it is very normal for ur smell to be off even a week after your period goes off u can still have old blood up there which smells really bad....This is what worked for me...I dont care what anyone says u have to start with an antibiotic .from there I no longer let my partner cum inside of me because sperm and even pre sperm will sure enough throw your balance off...i drank more water...and most important I started washing down there with this Unscented bar soap by Dr. bonners...(purposely spelled his name wrong but if u type that in on Amazon it should still pop up)....I swear since I've been doing with I have NOT had a problem with smell or discharge...I literally smell like nothing now even after sex and my period smell is nowhere near as strong as it use to be I honestly believe every woman should use this soap down there it really is the truth!!!!

i never got to the point of using boric acid or vitamin c i had it for 4 years i tried pretty much everything but antibiotic vaginal cream which has worked and the bv has gone but in saying that if it hadnt gone i dont know wat i would have tried next

iv heard of people using boric acid and saying that it makes it worse but others have said its worked so i cant really comment on if it works or not

I truly know ur pain so It definitely wouldn't hurt to try my technique...because I just feel like no woman should have to use different inserts everyday to have a fresh vajay that's just not normal. it's been almost a year and I'm still fresh ...I purposely didnt wash down there one whole day jus to see if by the next day my smell would return when I checked my smell that next day still smelled like NOTHING but what really sold me with the soap was how I didnt have a smell after sex... U wont be disappointed

I hear what you're saying shannel

when i checked my tunnel with my finger this morning it stunk of bv

i know it's back it's that fishy vile smell .

i had a quick bath before my dad came round and 10 minutesafter a bath ( i use cream no perfumes or cent down there my nurse suggest it it's called aquarius cream ) i put my finger up my tunnel again and again the smell .

I know I've tried alot of things and spent a fortune in the process but its just pure desperation.

I've read good things on this thread about boric acid I've to try it shannel.

I dont understand how you got rid of yours?

if you still had it like before you'd try anything.

I've had this bv 4 years solid no break .

its just not fair I'm a very very proud and clean person infact I hate exes going down on me when I was ok I always worried I might smell but I didn't smell I'm jjust very paranoid.

I'm taking all the vitamins I've changed everything to non bio I only bave in warm water I wear cotton pants.

I got on an antibiotic, I switched the soap I was using and I started using condoms with my partner and if we didnt use them I would make him pull out....I also cut back on alot of sugar n drink plenty water....and i keep Greek yogurt on deck because i eat it everyday...Greek yogurt is very good for helping with bv.....My smell changed ...I dont have discharge anymore even my period smell is lighter....once u take the antibiotic it's about maintaining so it doesnt come back so try changing ur diet and ur soap, or ur washing detergent n use condoms
