Dopamine-Reward centre of Brain

Dopamine level is increased if you have sex, alcohol consumption, even cigarette smoking. But this is addictive. Dopamine level goes up in your brain, you will feel joy. But increasing Dopamine level by sex,lust,alcohol and nicotine is not the correct method because it makes you addicted. The reason being, it keeps and motivate to take this very frequently to raise the dopamine level otherwise it depletes making you shiver, stress and more uncomfortable. Dopamine can be increased by natural methods which is safe because Dopamine will not deplete in this case.

    so... no drink, no smoking, no sex, not even a bit of lust .... jasus thats me off to the monastery so......

      unfortunately "moderation" is not in the vocabulary of most Alcoholics/drug addicts- if we knew how to apply moderation to our drug of choice we not have a problem i would suggest- Excess is the by-word for most addicts-
