Dosage increase- how long do side effects last?

Posted , 2 users are following.

I was on 10mgs for 5 weeks and have just increased to 20 due to the fact that it wasnt working. I know it takes quite awhile to work so im hoping it will soon without too many side effects from the increase.

This is a rough road.

    Hi

It took me best part of six months to get properly better, and that is on 40mg, every one is different, when my dose was increased I had all the bad side effects again, couldnt eat or sleep, shaking and fast pulse, it felt like being in a dark hole, I had no interest in anything, but I told myself to think positive and that I would get better, now I feel happy enjoying my home and garden again, I lost 3 stone in weight very fast I had no appetite it was horrid.

You will get better but the medication takes time to fully get into the system, it is not a quick fix.

just think positive and tell yourself you will get better, and you will but you cant rush this illness.

Good luck on your journey, let me know how you get on.
