Hi anyone had a increase of Antidepressants and it gave you aniexty.. I was increased to 150mg from 75mg after 9 weeks, it made it worse, terrible symptoms.. I've had to decrease the meds, slowly to 135mg , but tiny getting better, but still got symptoms, so I told my therapist and explained everything, he said my body is intolerance to the high increase, so going to reduce further.. its horrible, I dnt suffer from anxiety too badly just depression has I am a worrier but now had brain training from therapist. Does anyone know how long will the symptoms subside. I did well in 75mg years ago and that's my level...

Hi everytime my dose was increased I got all the symptoms as when I started, from reading alot from others on this wonderful site, it happens to most, BUT, if you are happier on the lower level, as my Dr., told me, no one knows their body like themselves, what works, what does not. so, whatever keeps you good, go for it. fell better soon x

Hi thanks, was doing well on 75mg for 9 weeks, had a review at gp, just had a little cry, nothing major so she doubled the dose, after 3 days, got the chills, heightened anxiety, didn't have that when I first started in them.. gp told me to give it time, after 6 weeks, wouldn't settle and couldn't cope, so she decreased them, felt a bit better but still not settled.. So going back down to 75mg.. hoping it settles in time.. hope your well..

Either 150 is too high or it doesn't agree with you. Perhaps you needed a longer time

to allow your body to get used to them. you do not have to take this amount if in England

as you now have choices. The only time you do not is if you are sectioned. Hope you are

now feeling easier. good wishes . carrob
