Doctor increased my dose yesterday from 50mg to 100mg this morning after taking it I felt very sicky and shaky was only on 50mg for a week

That does seem extremely quick to jump up to double the dose, it takes a good couple of weeks at least for the side effects of taking the medication initially to die down and for the drugs to start to have any kind of effect on you. Unfortunately Sertraline is slow to act and actually feel and kind of benefits from. I will perhaps give it another couple of days and see how you feel, if things start to settle down then keep going, but if not then definitely don't be afraid to go back to your doctor and ask to decrease back to 50, just to let your system get used to them first.
