Dosulepin to Sertraline

Posted , 2 users are following.

I have been on a low dose of dosulepin for 3 years for anxiety and doing well. However this drug has now been withdrawn and I have been swapped to Sertraline.

Now on day 10, but struggling with nausea and increased anxiety, particularly in the mornings. My pharmacist says to stick with it for 2 weeks and that people swapping between these drugs seem to suffer from the side effects. Anyone else had this? Just need to know if there is light at the end of the tunnel

Hi lois I was on 50mg sertraline for 5 + weeks and got that many side effects came off them over a week ago and I still feel worse than I ever have before - anxiety - severe chest pains - headaches - out of breath easy - basically I wish I never started the bloody things they may work for some but there`s alot they make alot worse.

Consult your doc before you decide to as withdrawal even after a short time is scary.....

    All the best
