Double Vision

Hi Everyone, I've had MD for about 2 years now. Typical symptoms...no hearing in left ear, tinnitus 24-7, vertigo, etc. Just developed binocular double vision. I think it is related to MD and wondered if anyone else has had vision issues. If so, what have you done to diagnose or correct the problem.

I have had Meniere’s of and on for 18 years. I’ve never experienced double vision. When I am having an attack it is impossible to focus, and my eyes move rapidly from side to side. I try to keep them closed. All of us have many similar symptoms and then again not all the same symptoms. Your double vision could be connected to Meniere’s or something completely separate. I certainly would get it checked out. If you are taking medications, this could be a side effect. Just guessing. Maybe someone else on this forum has experienced a direct connection with double vision and Meniere’s. I have not nor have I read anything about this connection. That certainly does not mean there is not one.
Best of luck.
Jim

Hello Daniel, I suffer from double and tunnel vision, I also have a chronic left eye twitch, I suffer from ocular migraines and have been diagnosed with a central nervous system disorder. I have been to a specialist for the vision issues, and I see a neurologist for the dizziness, vertigo and migraines. I didn't understand in the beginning that ocular migraines can occur without any pain or can have severe pain in behind the affected eye. I take a standard regimen for migraines. The medication helps a lot but of course doesn't solve the issue. The mayo clinic recognizes a close connection with meniere's and migraines, And my visit there just added more evidence to their studies. As I am sure you already know, be very careful with the vision issues, such as driving and such. As far diagnoses and solutions, diagnoses I have, solutions I do not at this point. Best wishes Bertman
