Well I saw my dr this morning. Said hip looks great!! Bone has grown into cup and stem. I'm 3 months out from hip revision. Only thing is I have tendinitis and bursitis still. But all of that is fixable with proper physical therapy and massaging. I still have weak hip muscles so he's given me some new exercises to do as well as work hard on those abductor muscles!! Those are soooo weak. And to start working on using a cane. I still have the 90% hip flexion precautions and no twisting!! Giving me a lil more freedom with a lil hint of precaution. It's good to know that hip is fine. I'm 3 ml short compared to 4 cm!!

good news indeed ...phew, what a relief it must be for you - you are so blessed with an orthopedic surgeon like him ...
the tendinitus and bursitis are not so great, but with tender loving care and tips you received , it will be fine --
are you feeling better now? knowing that bone has grown into stem and cup and did you see it for yourself?
now you can delete the other pictures you have in your head ... your hipis strong and getting stronger with each day ..
muscles can be trained ... for some reason mine are taking a long time to do so ... Apparantly I have been doing my excercises incorrectly, according to my PT and have been using my groin muscle instead of thigh muscle --- no wonder groin still feel so tight .... big sigh ....
big warm hug and keep going darling

Morning Renee!! Yes I am feeling a little better. Just not happy having this bursitis and tendonitis. He says being immobile for that amount of time caused this not to mention giving me back almost all my length. Yes I saw the X-ray and he showed it to us and pointed out how the bone is growing around the new hip. It's crazy to see those screw in there too!! I know what you mean by muscles.....mine too are taking a long time to train and get stronger. I noticed certain exercises aggravate the groin and those tendons in that area. So how are you feeling? How are things going for you? Hugs to you too!! 🤗🤗. LD
