My brother is a 35 year old male. He presented with a sinus infection before October 30. He was admitted to the hospital on November 11, 2014. He went because he woke up and his right eye was swollen shut. The Dr. immediatley sent him to the hospital to begin IV antibiotics. His vision began to deteriorate. He was no longer able to to move his eye (up, down, left, right). Things continued to get worse. The infection move to his brain. He has been in ICU on the most powerful antibiotics, antifungal, antibacterial to rid him of the infection. The right side of his brain has begun to swell and he has lost all feeling and movement of his left side (leg, arms, face). The doctors have run all kinds of test and everything comes back negative. A biopsy of his eye and sinuses has been done and still everything comes back negative. He has 8 different specialities working on his case and nobody knows what is happening and why he is continuing to swell all over his body and also in his brain. The Dr.s want to do a spinal tap....has anyone ever heard or seen of anything
