Dreading

Moaning again...I dread going up to bed sometimes because last night I was tired and every time I try drifting off bang wake up fed up just can't sleep properly when I do manage its early hours of the morning Anxiety or panic attacks doing it I don't know it's not nice, another night to dread again.

    I understand. I get the same way. It can be so dreadful. Maybe getting up and having a warm cup of tea, then, try sleeping again.

    My naturopath suggested for me to take 30 drops of valarien tincture in water before bed. Also, 10 mg melatonin. I have only tried it a couple nights, so far, so good. Hang in there hon. I do hope you find what works for you.

      Hi dee, I didn't know it was jolts doing it absolutely horrible I hope it stops one day because it stops you from dropping off, my friend sent me some melatonin in the post and I took them last night and I went off right away, don't know how long they will work, thing is its look like I have gone back sleeping because when I first went through it I couldn't but now these jolts stopping me, anyway thank you for your reply and you too hang on in there bless HUGS

      Dee, it work wonders took it last night drop off like a hat, can't speak for tonight though but will see.

    I am still awake after trying to get to sleep. I'm the same, just start to drift off then jolt awake. It's a horrible feeling like you've stopped breathing or something and then the panic sets in and then get afraid to go to sleep! Here's to a happy ending  some sleep 😴!

      Hi is this meno symptom do you think it will stop with time..I'm going to mention it to my dr if it does not go,I think it's when your not getting enough sleep.

      I don't know. I might mentionto my doctor also. I agree I think it is worse when you're so tired and really need to get sleep. Do you just wake up or feel like you have give a little gasp?

      Hi no gasping, just what ever it is don't let me drift off properly but it stops and I find that when I wake up it has aloud me to go off..bit worrying, I use to to wake up frighten that stop thank god.

    Magnesium at night will make a huge difference. It has done wonders for me. Make it a nightly ritual and you will see a huge difference. The capsules work great but some people like the powder version that you add to tea or hot water. Also add some lavender oil to your pillow and that will also help your sleep to be much deeper. Trust me, I’ve been there and this really helps!! Valerian root is also great as well but we all benefit from magnesium in our system, I hope you give it a trysmile

    So sorry you are still having trouble. Another person mentioned magnesium. I agree, I used to take that, but, it didn't agree with me. But..I now use it in lotion form to help my aching muscles. Also, for the other benefits. Too many to mention, but recommend you look into it.
