Drier eyes since starting steroid drops

i have blepharitis for which I'm taking steroid drops. My eyes have become so dry since commencing these. Has anyone else found this to be the case? Also I need something to help my dry eyes through the night. My doctor gave me Xailin night ointment but my eyes feel very irritated when I use it and am still waking in the night will terrible dry eyes. Can anyone recommend another treatment that helps through the night please?

    Hi It is not really safe to advise people to put anything into one's eyes unless the eye dr okays it.

    Even preescribed meds or drops are sometimes trial and error. I was prescribed lacrilube at night but it did not really suit me although I may have inserted too much  as I had never had to use anything like that before.

    ?However please do not do the same asit may be nsuitable for you.

    ?It really is best to go back to the prescriber for advice as they know what the exact problem is.

    Hi.i have same problem.

    Because you allergy to one thing in drop like Benzalkonium chloride as preservative.

    You need use preservative free product.
