Drinking while taking Citalopram

I’ve always felt a bit jaded and anxious the night after have night out drinking but since I’ve been in the Citalopram the panic attacks the next day are rediculous!! It feels like I’m losing my mind literally to the point of crying. Anyone else experienced this? I’m on 10 mg and going into my 4th week

    Just a quick question, are you drinking while taking this drug, if so this is one of the big side effects you will have. So if you are drinking while on these tablets you need to stop drinking alcohol straight away.

    If you are drinking alcohol whilst taking the tablet this is one of the side effects. I believe it is pointed out in the information leaflet. Good luck.

    Not every night just have a binge drink on a Saturday night maybes but think I’m gonna have to stop that it seems to set me back.
