Had the THR about two weeks ago
Doing great with a cane
Nearly pain free
Curious as to why I can't drive
What about using my non operated foot?

I think Ptolomy got the gist of what you were suggesting. In 2017 I think that would be viewed badly by the authorities. In the 70's I drove a car with my left foot when I'd stood on a nail with my right but I was young and foolish then and there wasn't so much traffic or rules.

Posterior approach and started driving 2 weeks after surgery. By that time I was off all pain mess and walking with no cane. Also, automatic trans and good leg on the gas and brake. Left leg just went along for the ride 😀
