Jade, I had my first seizure in 1998 and it is frustrating as heck,  Every state has laws as to how long you have to go seizure free before you drive again.  I live in Iowa and it is 6 months while across the river in NE it is only 3 months  The doctor said some states do not require you to wait at all.  I said I'd just drive and not worry and the doctor replied if you do and get in an accident even if it is not your fault you can be sued.  He said if the other party finds out you'v had a seizure they can sue.  Tthe doctor he has to reveal it if asked.  That first 6 months was misserable trying to find friends, family and even the taxi.  However,  I found there were a lot of great people out there when I asked.  I wish you the best of luck and most important get well!
