Drop to 5mg before Easter

At last I have reached my target of 5
And now I am feeling a bit more alive
And there I will stay while the body adjusts
I won't try to hurry and this is a must
I've been like a tortoise or even a snail
I've dropped really slowly so as not to turn pale
I don't really care if I never get off
As long as I'm coping and don't feel too rough
And I'm cautiously hopeful that here I can sit
And if that's the case I'm not stressing a bit!
HAPPY EASTER EVERYONE AND ENJOYApril 2019

Thanks for the poem....glad you have 'made' it. I am still in the process but at 17mg I am happy since I began at 100 2 years ago. Hoping to feel more like myself regarding mind and gait.....feel like I am drunk some times. but I will forge ahead and make it or die trying.....give yourself a hug and pass it on. Happy Easter indeed.

Diana, I stayed on 5mg for 8 weeks after my flare and was on it for 6 plus weeks before that. Threw away the calendar! Still I am not sure I have made the right decision, feel fatigued most of the time, keep moving, but it is an effort. See my PCP tomorrow. Good luck 🙂
