Dropped down doseage

My doc dropped my doseage down.She said maybe it was too much!I have OCD anxiety!Did anyone have to drop their doseage to get better and was dropping the dose like starting over?I was on 60 mg for 12 weeks or so and she dropped me back to 40.40 was the dose that worked for me ten years ago!I got off it and had to go back on!I don’t know what to expect w dose drop and doc explains nothing like my doc did when I had postpartum 10 yrs ago

    40 mgs is just about the right dosage.60 mgs as far as i am concerned is way too high,so new level should work better for you.

      Thank you!Just feel more anxious since I dropped doseage but anxiety seemed to come about two weeks after drop!

    yes,it took about 6/8 weeks to work and during that time i still had side effects which slowed down bit by bit

    what you must remember is because you were on a much higher dose at one point,by coming down too a better level the medication now taken ,has too reajust in your body ,so that is why you may feel you are getting worse,but you are not ,it is just readjusting the ssri in your body system

      I was on 40 for 10 weeks and was having a big dip that lasted two weeks so she upped me to 60 and stayed on that 13 weeks or so!I was up and down through that time,she decided to rip me and now I have been dropped for about 4 weeks!It worked at 40 in 2009 within a few weeks and seems to be taking a lot longer!I started celexa  July.
