how come your dropping down? and how come you went up to 40mg so soon? ,any change in the dose causes side effects by the sounds , are you sticking to 20mg then?

The 40mg and then 30mg were making me so ill. I gave both doses 3 weeks but literally couldn't stick the side effects any more. Im sticking at 20mg.......struggling though......feel so ill and low....I know people say side effects but I literally havent felt any improvement this whole journey

were all in the same boat just at different stages on the river , i have felt so low and hopeless for a couple of weeks now , its really hard and takes time just once you stabalise on a dose you should feel a lot better , easier said than done i bet your saying but you will start feeling better , i gave up last time then tried another antidepressant and just wished i had rid out the rough journey on cit, 20mg seems like the most common dose i would just stick to that

You should really stick to one dose for a long time as maddening as it can be. Im just about 4 months on 20mg, 8 months total of increasing then decreasing. Im still not 100% but staying on one dose has helped me a lot. The up and down has probably thrown you for a loop. Maybe try a benzo until you settle down a little. I alway feel more sick to my stomach on my anxious days, so it is not surprising youre feeling ill. You got to let the meds settle so you can gain some traction. I hope 20 will work for you. The higher doses were too much for me. I felt so out of it on the higher dose and didnt feel any better mentally. I could probably go down to something lower, but because ive stabilized, we dont want to rock the boat with another dose change. Maybe sometime next year. Keep the faith. Were all in this together!

Keep a daily journal and make notes of how youre feeling. Compare in month from now. Lots of people do this to track improvements

Great recommendation. I did this for about four months. It definitely helped me to be able to look back and see my progress. I ranked each day 1-10 as well so I could how it went up and down.

HI Lou!
I know this is tough. I had a rough time with this drug and the roller coaster ride made me nuts for the first several months.I'm at 10 mg now and doing well. I do have an occassional
day that I'm anxious. I've noticed it happens when I don't work out. Even just do a walk with headphones and escape into the music or podcasts. it helps alot.
