What meds do you take, Pamela? Have you been taking anything other than those that are necessary to control the UC? Did you take steroids for the last flare and how quickly did you manage the taper?

    Hi Pamela

I was actually on Mezavant which worked ok for me. You may also check your diet, cut down on lactose, gluten, coffee, and hot spicy food. Once the cause is isolated then let the system repait itself in close consultation with your doctor.

I'm wondering if it's cause the good bacteria been destroyed from taking the Prednisone? My GI I never can get through I'm trying to get my regular Dr to help me
