Dry cough after a week of Sertraline 50mg

Hello everyone, I have been on sertraline 50 mg for over 11 days now. I did not notice major side effects I will tell my experience of what I remember. Most noticeable side effects during first week were dry mouth, excessive thirst and frequent urination, GI issues (still have them), insomnia ( only for initial 3-4 days), after a week or so I developed a dry cough with no sign of cold or rhinitis or influenza. Its been 3-4 days I still have a cough, it worries me because nowhere in leaflet its stated that cough could be a side effect. Regard to efficacy of sertraline, honestly I have not felt anything as of now, infact quite the contrary drug has made me somewhat restless and jittery.

Hi, my mom takes this medicine. I came to this forum to see if anyone has a dry cough. She coughs quite a bit and it's been several months since she started taking the medicine. She has to take cough meds every night.
