have you seen a doctor? You should see an opthalmologist really. is your health otherwise ok? A number of things can cause dry eyes but I am wondering if your tear ducts are blocked or inflamed causing the droop in the eyelid. Things like sicca syndrome or Sjogrens can cause very dry eyes. But also would say a range of things could cause dryness like that. Blepharitis for example. Do you have anything on your lashes especially when you wake in the morning...any crusting or debris there? I would also say a routine eye examination coukd pick up on any of these issues. Would be a good idea to do that.
