Dry heaving and nausea 11 days post op... Feel like giving up

Hi all,

To give you a bit of background info I started experiencing dry heaving, abdominal pain and nausea on 5th July. It was discovered by an ultrasound that I had a big stone in my gallbladder and gallbladder inflammation.

I had my gallbladder removed on Wednesday 25th August. However I have been disappointed to discover that my dry heaving and nausea are still present. 😦

Will this go away in time? Or is it a sign that the dry heaving and nausea might be related to another stomach/digestive problem and needs further investigation? I've never had any food intolerances or been diagnosed with anything like IBS, Chron's, colitis etc.

I'm beginning to feel extremely depressed over the whole situation as I can no longer go out to see my family and friends due to the fear that I might dry heave any second. It's almost impossible for me to lead a normal life and I just don't see the point anymore. 😦

Note - I've been taking cyclizine, it's stopped me from throwing up but hasn't stopped the nausea. I'm considering asking my GP for a different anti nausea medication as it also makes me very drowsy, no good for when i go back to work.
