Dry itchy ear canals

One of the weird symptoms I have (along with almost all of the 66 posted on the main page about perimenopause) is super crazy dry itchy ears. I'm constantly having to itchy them and there is rarely relief.

I'm so tired of this perimenopause transition. It's exhausting-mentally,physically,and emotionally. I saw my gynecologist today and she was surprised that I have severe joint pain. I feel like she should know that it's a symptom, and according to this site, it seems fairly common.

Hi, Trinity. I also have dry, itchy ear canals, even some weird nerve pain occasionally in my left ear, and some strange fluttering occasionally in my right ear. it all drives me a little crazy, so I'm trying some natural ear drop oil to see if it might help. I also have a lot of joint pain in my neck and shoulders, as well as tingling in my arms, amongst a bunch of other symptoms in my body, most of which my gynecologist, like yours, seems mystified about. I had a partial hysterectomy last June, but I'm not on any hormone therapy. I'm trying to convince myself, however, that this is all actually related to a fluctuation in hormones, so I continue to research more natural resolutions. And, it helps a lot by reading the entries on this forum- it makes me feel not so alone.

Hi Lisa, thanks for replying. This transition into menopause is brutal and exhausting, isn't it? It certainly is helpful though, to know we're not alone 😃
