Dry line on the underside of the penis shaft

Posted , 2 users are following.

hello,

hoping to see if someone had experienced the same. after a long air travel i noticed a fine line of dry skin on the underside of the penis and where the dry line starts there is a darkened area towards the base.

it could very well have been there before travel but a little nervous .

it hasn't gotten worse or better . no itching or other symptoms ... maybe due to dry masturbation ..?

Sunny, just borrowing some of your words for the most likely circumstances that you have with your penis: " noticed " and " could very well have been there before " - so yes, this was naturally developing within your skin level of your penis, only, you had not noticed it before.

So, it is my understanding that these are a natural development for some males following onset of sexual maturity. If you wanted to be 100% sure you could get a Urologist to check this for you.

In terms of the masturbation, and, the general health of your penile skin, here are the essentials: -

    .

    • try to avoid applying ANY soap or other forms of body wash such as shower gel directly to your penis
    • wash the penis with water only
    • during a shower wash everywhere else on the body as you normally would, then fully rinse away soap and shower gel residue
    • use the running shower water to clean the penis with rubbing the tip area with the inside of your hand only to clean it
    • it looks like you are uncircumcised, so if you are uncircumcised expose the entire head of your penis when cleaning at the end of the shower by drawing the loose skin towards the base of your penis
    • each time you wash the penis you must ensure to remove any moisture by carefully fully drying it with a clean dry towel, and, the towel should be one that ONLY you use
    • for hydrating penile skin, get yourself some liquid Coconut Oil that is for use on skin, rather than hair - 99% pure is a really good Coconut Oil
    • you only need apply a very light coating of the Coconut Oil, and apply this to the main shaft and head area of your penis - again if you are uncircumcised do not allow a build-up of the oil between the head and foreskin of your penis. This is why the Oil is applied sparingly rather than with generous amounts
    • best way to apply the Oil is to place some on the fingertips first to regulate the amount
    • the best time to apply Coconut Oil is after you have taken a regular shower and you have fully dried yourself
    • if you masturbate regularly you can use the Coconut Oil as a natural lube - the oil has natural skin healing properties and this is why it is so good for both hydrating penile skin as well as for a lube for masturbation
    • NOTE: you cannot use Coconut Oil with most condoms

Hopefully you will be able to keep your penile skin more healthy in the future, particularly you now have a detailed alternative to dry masturbation. If you have any specific questions simply hit the "Reply" Button .....

Thank you for the response. I having been putting off seeing the urologist, guess am scared that it could be something else. .. googling on this doesnt help .. penile cancer and stuff comes up when searching for discoloration of skin .

I have decided to get this checked out on monday with the doctor to get a piece of mind.

The tips you noted are appreciated. Thank you.

Seeing a Urologist is the best way of putting your mind at rest.

Feedback once you have seem the Urologist would be helpful if you can update your Forum Post here - it would be useful for future reference ......

Many thanks for the update. Did the Urologist give a description or a name to the line?
