Couple months ago I randomly got this redness on my head and i've tried putting cream on it and it hasn't work. Looking to know what it is and how i can treat it as it makes me insecure

Have you tried antihistamine tablets? There may be something in your shampoo you are allergic to. Which shampoo do you use? Can you take a photo of the ingredient list and post it?

As you say its dry,it may be the start of eczema or psoriasis. But you dont say its itchy which is puzzling. It may be an allergy to shampoo or soap or shower gel.
Are you taking any medication?
If it continues you should see a doctor to get a proper diagnosis and treatment.
