Here is what worked for me, after a short soaking and/or shower, I used a damp warm cloth and gently rubbed the dry skin.  Then I dried and used Cetaphil lotion for dry skin.  I did this 3 times a day and after about a week, all dead skin was gone.  BUT once gone, you have to keep putting the lotion on after bathing as it is all new skin and needs care and moisture

    Hi dee

I used a flannel to rub the dead skin away in the shower. It took a while and a few attempts to get rid of it all from my foot then left it. I didn't use moisturiser as I wanted to operation incisions to heal naturally plus the skins natural oils then start to work. Hope this helps

Try a sugar scrub or exfoliating scrub followed by moisturizer

I was wondering did you find anything that worked well? I have never used lotion. Since mineral oil, in most lotions causes the body's natural oils to stop working. It's how company's make you believe there product works stop using dry skin hence keep using.
