Dry tickly cough.Has anyone

Hi ladies.  I have had a dry cough for two months which doesn't seem to be improving and over the last few days it started effecting my chest.  My chest feels tight and it feels like something heavy is weighing it down.

Hi everyone.  Sorry my shaky fingers clicked on the wrong button.  Has anyone else experienced this as Dr Google diagnoses coughing as an early sign of lymphoma(cancer), strokes, heart attacks and other scary illnesses.

    Thanks.

Allergic reactions smile I had the same... it just never went away then i realized i was going through peri and did some research. You need to remove/reduce high histamine foods.  Anything that is preserved .. processed meats etc .. look it up in google.  Replace with anti histamine foods , Also during peri we become intolerant to sugar... (also causes alot of headaches and migraine sinus issues)  So cut down or even better remove. I was shocked at what a difference it made to my symptoms.   Anxiety can cause the tight chest also.. as long as you have had your chest heart checked etc to re assure you that nothing else weird is going on. IT does calm down then flare up again as your hormones vary.

Go see your doctor.  The fact that it has gone on for two months and is now getting worse is concerning.  As experienced as people are on this web site, we are not doctors.  You should find out what's going on--not guess.  It could be allergies, or it could be something more worrisome.  Please see a doctor. xx

I strongly agree with Linda20916. No reason to wait and worry. A simple x-ray can tell a lot. And it could be allergies (or if you are on some blood pressure medication, that could cause it too)

Hi faz5503 - yes. I think  it was mentioned here, but f you are are on blood pressure RX's, some of them are notorious for giving people a hacking cough....Lisinopril being one of them. If you are not on RX's for B/P then I definitely would get it checked out -
