Dryness after PRK which started several months later

I had PRK surgery in January 2019 and have started experiencing drynes several months later. It first showed up in April then I went to the doctor and he suggested allergy drops which I used. Relieved beyond words, the dryness went away for a couple of months. Then beginning in the end of July and for a month it has returned. I am using Restasis for almost three weeks and am very very anxious. I can find NO examples online of anyone who has experienced this delayed dryness. I know the "healing" process can go on for a year but I am terrified about this. Just curious if anyone else has experienced this delayed reaction.
