Just took my first ever dulcolax stool softener. Had earlier soft stools and for the first time in a few days felt fantastic then my order came from amazon and I thought I should take 1 to keep it up!
Anyone else tried these? How long do they take to work etc

I have recently had a flare up of a fissure and began to take DulcoLax again a couple of weeks ago to try and help me go to the toilet more comfortably. I took three a day for a week, and they seemed to help after about four days. I have since dropped down to two a day and will see how I go. It is such a relief when it is easier to go to the toilet! I would suggest trying one a day for a week as that may be enough to make a difference. I think you can take up to three for a short period of time, so you may need a bit of trial and error to see what works best for you. Good luck.

took one around 5 hours ago, so i guess i just needa wait, probably the 1 will do me today then maybe try 2 tomorrow

Yesterday's update
Went as usual and absolutely no blood or pain:)
Sent this morning and mild amount of bleeding, Inspection of things there's a small circular fissure (cut) just beside my anus
Slopping sudocrem on it fingers crossed 🤞
