If you have any concerns about your eyes you would b best to attend a eye casualty, there is one usually attached to a general hospital. Check your area and times, maybe not open today possibly tomorrow. Your eyes are precious so any concerns like this always get checked out. You don't need an appointment its a wait service the same as a a & e department. This is if your in the UK. I had pain in my eye and my opticians couldn't find what was wrong and told me to go to eye hospital I was then diagnosed with eye migraine which I had never heard of before. It may not be serious why your suffering but only a specialist can tell you. Best wishes.

It was a while ago since I had it but the treatment was a pain killer that helps with nerve pain possibly gaberpentin as I suffer nerve pain anyhow.

    Hi Ian

Sounds like you could be exhausted, probably with eye strain. Are you by chance taking any medication before this started ?, as some side effects of certain medication can make your eyes feel foggy. Are you eating properly ?. Do you get headaches and where are they ?.

I hope you get to the bottom of this and let us know anything. Hope you had a good Christmas Day. All the best.

      Hi Kev

Thanks for your reply. I had my eyes tested last week and they are fine, the optician also did a scan behind my eyes.

I am getting sharp pains like needles sticking in into the top of my head, one either side and my forehead feels like it is hanging over my eyes.

I was on a drug called venlofaxine but have been off fir 10 weeks, i did experience some withdrawals but must be clear of them by now.
