dull pain in lower stomach and stinging anus

I recently had a CT colonoscopy and it has left me with a sting anus and dull stomach pain all the time, anyone else suffered this and any idea what it could be, the purging was quite hoiific and maybe its flared something up?

    A scope Colonoscopy can cause complications and the purging medication may have been too harsh and upset something.  Was this the type of colonoscopy you had or was it a virtual CT one with contrast?  If you had a CT with contrast, maybe you have had a reaction to the dye.  If you have symptoms for longer than a week, see your doctor.

      thanks i had CT without dye as am allergic to it, not sure what a virtual is? if that is what they do instead of scope then thats what it was.

      never had the scope as that was real bad for me about 4 years ago.

      A virtual colonoscopy is the CT version of your scan.  Maybe as Leeniepie commented, the problems you are having are to do with the air they pump into you and the purging medication.  If the pain goes away by itself. It may be just a short term reaction.  If the pain keeps coming and going, then see your doctor.

    Sore an us could be from the prep. Pain is prob from the air they put in you

      hi there had the test week and half ago, and although had pain thursday and friday last week was fine over weekend!! seems to have a mind of its own!
