Dull pain just below ear

Hi,

I've been having some discomfort in my ears for a while now (couple of months). At first I thought it was ear wax up. I've used Otex ear drops to eventually clear it out (there was a LOT of wax!!!). Now thats gone, my hearing has got better (no surprise), but I've still got this dull pain in the ear / just below it.

Any ideas on what I can try?

    Morning, get your doctor to take a look inside your ear.  You may have an infection.  I know what men are like

    for prodding their ears...did you Andrew ?

    Thanks. Will book up a GP's appointment to see what he says. 

    Regarding prodding my ears - no, and I never do smile (don't like the idea of cotton buds etc)
