Dull pressure above below right eyebrow, left anterior shoulder and neck tightness

Hello, I am a relatively healthy 20 year old male (besides the problems I'm going to address), I am also a full-time student. In November of 2014 I developed a dull head pressure just below my right eyebrow. It is constantly there, although some days it is less noticeable than others. Nothing I have discovered makes it better or worse, and it doesn't hold me back from doing anything it is just annoying. I went to a neurologist who gave me anti-inflammatory pills at first, but they did nothing. Then I had a MRI of my brain, and it came back normal. Next we tried a nerve block, it relieved the dull pressure sensation for about 2 months but then it came back. I have not been able to go back to the neurologist after the first nerve block and have just been dealing with the pressure ever since. I also went to an ENT to rule out the possibility of a sinus problem, the ENT said everything looked fine. Then in April of 2016, while I was driving I developed a tightness in my left anterior shoulder and neck. It is mild but nonetheless bothersome. I went to a chiropractor and he did a few adjustments, after the last appointment the tightness was better but it came back a few days later. I went to my family doctor this week and told him about these problems, he said to schedule another appointment with the neurologist and he wanted to get an x-ray of my spine, and also wants blood work done. Is it possible that these two discomforts are connected? Has anyone had similar symptoms to either my head or shoulder? I've read online that it is possible it could be chronic Lyme disease but I do not remember getting bit by a tick. Everything I have read on chronic pain on the internet says it is severe and debilitating, but I can still do everything but just with annoying head pressure and should tightness. Sometimes they are both barely noticable, or one is barely noticeable and the other is bothersome, or they are both bothersome. I have been dealing with this discomfort for a while now and I just want to feel normal again. Anyone that could offer any information about my symptoms it would be very much appreciated.

I did not mean to type the word "above" in the title, sorry for the confusion.

Now with all of this being said there is many possibilities and luckily you are addressing the two first most obvious possibilities. If you are into sports it could be a spine or nerve injury. First if they link it to swollen disks or degenerative disk and nerve problems you could simply have a major vitamin and fat soluble vitamin deficiency. Nothing wrong with taking vitamins to see if it helps. I will tell you a secret about fat soluble vitamins that no one told me. If you take too much then the end of the nerves can get clogged. They dull in sensation and sometimes cause numbness and tingling. I bet your doctor is not testing a full vitamin panel. It is not expensive but can tell you a lot. My story is long and been hard mentally, physically and psychologically. I still have hope. I have learned to be more proactive and research reputable sights by myself. I even consider theoretical findings and adapt to what works best for me. I am on minimal medicine now due to a doctor prescribing me ( a diabetic!) a potassium sparing diuretic. NOT GOOD. That same doctor had me on a vitamin regimen that worked great for me! I never felt better. Until i did not feel much of anything. I went temporarily paralytic and started having debilitating migraines. On my own I have discovered I may have paralytic migraine syndrome. I had an entirely unrelated specialist doctor mention it could be due to the type birth control i was on? The very same one you see lawyers commercials about on TV. Its most common side affects were blood clots, stroke, heart palpitations and even heart attack. In rare cases veen anuerisms. I flipped and took myself off of the birth control and started researching immediately. As a female this was my cause. I wish i could you you find out yours. Keep being proactive!!!
Also, does any form of diabetes or auto immune disease run in your family? That includes far off distant family?
Thank you and Good luck,
Crystal M.

thank you for replying, they did use contrast for my mri, and also I have no other symptoms like you mentioned, like shortness of breath, blurred vision, hard to concentrate etc.. so I am fairly confident I can rule out that as a possiblity. I haven't heard about how a lack of vitamins could cause these problems, but would a vitamin deficiency cause head pressure for two years? And from what I know no one in my family suffers from diabetes or auto immune disease.
Thanks.

Your welcome.
Its a good thing that the other symptoms are not present.
I learned the hard way that lack of fat soluble vitamins can cause a LOT of problems. They trigger things in the body. Depending of=n which vitamin or vita mins are deficient it can cause the pressure. Is it consistant or does it come and go by getting worse than better at times?
Also don't take offense but what you are describing as pressure could be lack of oxygen. Meaning you feel pressure but it moght not be pressure at all. i know that seems weird to think. But think about this. No test shows pressure of the brain. They can take your over all blood pressure showing the pressure withing the veins but that is so vague. If there is not any swelling in the brain matter then there is probably not pressure in your head.
It could however be tension of the muscles or a paralytic affect because of neuropathy. Neuropathy is hardest to diagnose when on or in the head. It is something you would feel but cannot be seen by any test. What you can do is go ahead and ask for a full blood panel. I mean FULL. That means checking male hormones and even ask them to check your Cortisol levels. Once you know if it is due to an over or under active gland then you can look at how to alter your diet and which supplements to take to improve your symptoms.
Can I ask what you do for work? Have you had anything tramatizing happen in the past two years? maybe there was a trigger around the time this started. Think back. What has happened since then? What have you changed? Also how old are you? Are you under weight, average or over weight? has your weight changed outside of 10 pounds of what it had been consistantly for 5-7 years or even changed since all of this has happened?
Lastly, diabetes CAN be hereditary. Newer studies and long term studies in other countries say we can contract diabetes due to where we live (hot/cold) plays apart, the elevation we live (moving to higher elevations) HUGE deal internally, change in job (work around chemicals), change in water source or food source, etc...
Do you keep a journal? maybe keeping track of stressful events, food and just writing a tiny paragraph about what triggers episodes might help. I always keep track in my note pad on my phone because it logs the date and time for me. Like lately I tried to cut back on coffee per my doctors request and have been getting wicked headaches. They are very different than the one I get that causes the paralytic episodes. I can feel those coming. They start to tingle, then my vision gets blurry, then i feel exhausted to the point I cannot even ift my arms. Then I feel like a full grown 300 pound man is using all his force and banging a hammer at the same spot over and over. Next my face droops and I get hot. My face flushes red in color. I have to meditate so to speak. Because it is a scary thing I get emotional and slightly panicky (in the beginning0. Mainly because I dread it and it means I have to stop everything, go home and do nothing until it passes. It truly is debilitating.
About auto immune disease. How often do you get sick a year? What kind of sickness?
