Duverticular bleeding

I had been a silence patient of diverticulosis many years ago with only occasional painin the left lower abdomen. Most of the time, it went away after taking intestinal antiseptic or probiotics of 20billion culture x2.

Just few days ago, this was the first time I suffered from diverticular bleeding and warded to SGH for observation. The doctor said 90% of patients will stop bleeding by itself. But after several days, bleeding still happened and I have to take blood transfusion twice as such. As my colonoscopy was done eight months ago, I was taken for a CT scan instead to find the spot of bleeding. Unfortunately the CT scan couldn't find the bleeding spot. I sm now waiting for further action from the team of doctors to come round and suggest this morning. 1/11/2021
