DVT and exercise

Newly diagnosed DVT in my calf, but it’s probably been there at least a month. Treatment as of today.

Question—— I haven’t limited my activity at all bc I didn’t know about it. No pain and no shortness of breath.

I’m not running or anything like that. Assuming I can still walk around like normal???

Based on my Husband’s experience, he’s had two, the answer would be yes. He didn’t alter his routine at all other than to take anti coagulants.  I find it odd that there’s no follow up to see if the clot has gone, but no one seems concerned! Hope this helps.

Yes you can, I was told to listen to my body, exercise as much as was comfortable but not to stand for long periods and not to sit with my leg down for long periods, leg should always be raised.
