    PIP Assessments

    Hello

Disability assessments are a part of claiming Personal Independence Payments (PIP) assessments are carried out every so often depending on your condition / disability and whether the DWP expect it to stay the same or if it may change fore the better or worse over a period of time.

The DWPcan ask to you attend an assessment at any time and especially if you repot a change in your cindition.

An AR1 form can be sent out which is a 12 page form asking if things have become Easier, Harder or No Change.

You can see a sample of an AR1 here...

    Hope this answers your question.

    Hi

Does the letter not say what the assessment is for?

Yes, Mick is right the letter should say what the assessment is for. Have you recently received another PIP form to fill in and return? Reviews for PIP are done 1 year before the award is due to end.
